“For the purpose of these Terms & Conditions, the terms ‘conversation’ and ‘session’ may be used interchangeably to refer to the services offered.”
Eligibility
This practice is designed specifically for adult men in established stages of adulthood and is intended for clients aged 25 and older.
Informed Consent
By booking and participating in a session, you acknowledge and agree that these sessions are conversational and reflective in nature, designed to support clarity, perspective, personal insight, and decision-making. These sessions are not psychotherapy, counselling, medical care, psychiatric care, crisis intervention, or any form of regulated healthcare service.
No diagnosis, treatment, clinical assessment, or medical or psychological advice is provided, and no specific outcomes are guaranteed.
You understand that you remain fully responsible for your own choices, actions, decisions, wellbeing, and outcomes during and after the session. Participation is voluntary, and you may discontinue sessions at any time.
Information shared during sessions is treated respectfully and confidentially, subject to the limitations outlined below. For online sessions, you are responsible for ensuring a private setting and a stable internet connection. While reasonable efforts may be made to protect privacy and security, electronic communications cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure.
These sessions may draw from a combination of professional training, structured frameworks, communication tools, lived experience, personal development methodologies, and reflective dialogue.
These services are not appropriate for emergency, crisis, or urgent mental health situations. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, you are encouraged to contact emergency services, a licensed healthcare provider, or an appropriate crisis support service.
I reserve the right to pause, decline, or discontinue services if I believe your needs fall outside the scope of these sessions or would be better supported by a licensed healthcare provider, mental health professional, or other qualified specialist. In such cases, appropriate professional resources or referrals may be recommended.
By proceeding, you confirm that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to participate under these terms.
Notes and Record Keeping
Brief notes may be taken following the conversation to support continuity. These notes are kept minimal, private, and handled with care.
Confidentiality & Its Limits (Canada)
Information shared during sessions is treated as confidential. However, confidentiality is not absolute and may be disclosed where required or permitted by law in Canada, including situations involving:
• Risk of serious harm to yourself or others
• Suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable person
• Court order or other legal obligation requiring disclosure
Sessions in Public or Semi-Public Settings
For sessions conducted in public or semi-public environments (including walk-and-talk or café-based sessions), complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the setting. While discretion is maintained, it is possible that conversations may be overheard by others in the vicinity.
By choosing such a setting, you acknowledge and accept this limitation.
Cancellation & Commitment Policy
This policy reflects the value of both our time and the preparation involved in each session, ensuring that every appointment is intentionally scheduled and coordinated.
Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance may be rescheduled. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment, as well as no-shows, will be charged the full session fee.
Booking & Payment
• A valid credit card is required to secure your appointment
• Sessions canceled within the late cancellation window will be charged automatically
